Overview
The Dallas Industries-built Vox AC-50s are essentially handwired "reissues" of the last version of the JMI models from the mid 1960s, using a silicone diode bridge rectifier for efficiency and reliability and "big box" construction with the chassis on a plywood slider for ease of service. Though marketed more heavily by Dallas as a bass amp, these EL34-equipped sleepers are incredible guitar amplifiers for larger clubs, and an amazing value in general.
