Everything functions as it should, and the Riddim’s display, controls, pads, speaker, inputs/outputs and sampling functions are working properly.This is the complete Teenage Engineering reggae / dub / dancehall setup: the EP-40 is a sampler, sequencer, synth and live-performance instrument built around sound-system culture, while the Ting adds a handheld lo-fi performance mic with onboard vocal effects and triggerable samples.The EP-40 includes 400+ sounds, grid-synced loops, onboard bass/synth sounds, pressure-sensitive dub sirens, sampling, sequencing, MIDI, sync and a collection of performance effects. Teenage Engineering’s current OS also adds USB audio recording/monitoring, reverse sample playback, adjustable recording sample rate and additional sampling improvements. The EP-2350 Ting includes four live voice effects including echo, spring-style effects, pixie and robot modes, plus four replaceable samples and adjustable effect parameters. It can connect directly to the Riddim or other audio equipment through its 3.5 mm output.
