The Taylor 612ce Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar, initially released in 1998, has undergone redesigns to give you richer, more complex tone. Maple comprises the back and sides of the 612ce, completed by a sitka spruce top for greater versatility and a short-scale neck for an extra playability factor. The sleek onboard Expression System 2 electronics, Venetian cutaway, and "Brown Sugar" stain on the back and sides give the Taylor 612ce extra flair.

Beautiful guitar. The brightness of the maple, with the smaller body's sound is sweet(and beautiful.) Great action.Try it, you'll love it.

The nicest sounding, feeling, and playing finger style ever! A unexpected treat: It is great for flatpicking to - Loud with no Break up! Very unusual for a small bodied acoustic guitar.

My first Taylor, so I wanted to have it all in one experience. This one did just that. Warm tone; easy pickin' and great woods. Especially love the cutaway at the high end of the neck. Put a new set of Elixir strings on, and you got sweet perfection....

One of the best guitars among many other Taylor's I have owned. Sweet, warm and woody with a nice brightness that isn't harsh or strident. Superbly made and the 12 fret is very cozy for fingerpicking. A great choice.

I own a few Taylor's and, I have to say I have a new fave! The 612 is beautiful , and the Sound is clear and warm ,it is so comfortable, the 12 Th fret is really nice! As far as cons! There are none unless you don't like well crafted instruments. It's a Taylor and I like it ! Go get yourself one , I'm sure you will be pleased.
