    Loud, punchy pickups, fast neck, great look. Does everything I need it to. My only problem is the plastic-ebanol fretboard, but I moved past that. Great for the price!

    Like a top-shelf single malt Scotch, this bass is smoooooth and warm. I put D'Addario tapewound strings on it for a deep, upright bass sound. As others have commented, the VM Fretless is a great buy, so you can't go wrong if you've wanted to try a fretless. Why did I wait so long?????
