The 2012 Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar delivers authentic offset style, distinctive Jaguar switching and classic single-coil character in a striking Candy Apple Red finish. This earlier example features a genuine rosewood fingerboard—an increasingly desirable specification that was replaced by Indian laurel on later models.The comfortable basswood offset body is paired with a C-shaped maple neck, a short 24-inch scale and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The shorter scale makes chords, bends and longer stretches feel comfortable, while the modern 9.5-inch fingerboard radius provides familiar playability.Two Duncan Designed Jaguar single-coil pickups deliver the bright attack, clarity and character associated with the Jaguar. The traditional dual-circuit electronics provide a wide selection of sounds. The lead circuit includes individual pickup switches, a low-cut “strangle” switch, master volume and master tone controls.
