Overview
The Soundelux iFet7 is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone based on a few different Neumann FET microphones -- the U 47 fet, KM 84, and U 87.
A switch on the body of the microphone goes between "I" for instrument and "V" for voice. This switches between two discrete FET amplifiers for different characteristics.
The microphone was slightly redesigned and rereleased by David Bock (designer/builder for Soundelux) as the Bock Audio iFet.
