The HLD-590 was the flagship snare drum of Sonor's late '80s lineup. Featuring a sand cast solid bronze shell, copper-plated hardware, and a sturdy parallel snare system, the drum initially featured 24 lugs until Sonor switched to a 20-lug design in 1989.
