About this listing
As the story goes, when Seymour Duncan was a young man he designed and installed a pair of special rewound PAFs into a certain young mans guitar (clue in the title!) and changed the tone of the rock world forever! The SH-18 Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker Set is a replication of that set of classic pickups.
The Whole Lotta Humbuckers utilize a Alnico 5 magnet, plain enamel wire and a unique wind pattern to deliver their classic tone. The bridge pickup is hotter than a vinatge whilst the neck is also similarly beefy. Tone wise, you get great sonic quality with added warmth and a balanced note clarity. They will also drive your amp harder delivering that added natural compression and extra sustain.
This is a pickup set, so includes both neck and bridge pickups.
