Overview

The Roland TR-909 is a programmable step-sequenced drum machine featuring both sampled and analog drum sounds that have become staples of techno and house music. With DIN Sync24, MIDI In and Out, and individual outputs for each sound, the TR-909 can integrate with multiple other pieces of gear, and offers numerous controls for tweaking each sound. The TR-909 has been used by artists such as Future Sound of London, Moby, Fatboy Slim, Orbital, The Prodigy, Jean Michel Jarre, and The Chemical Brothers.
