Quilter bills its 101 Mini Reverb 50-Watt Guitar Head as a sort of missing link between a guitar players effects and speaker cabinet. With a reimagined three-knob EQ section (Bass, Mid, and Treble), the 101 proves to be quite versatile across the frequency spectrum. Quilter does this by giving the Mid an aggressive “bite” on the high-end, and a clean-’60s Blackface tone on the lower end. Its effects section includes Gain, Limiter, Reverb, & Master controls. Another upside is that this head only weighs two pounds, making it highly compact and portable.
