The PRS SE Custom 24 has become a modern classic because it effortlessly blends refinement, versatility, and pure playing enjoyment into one incredibly balanced instrument. The combination of the maple top, mahogany body, and Lake Blue finish gives the guitar a lively, resonant voice with warmth underneath the articulation, creating a sound that feels equally at home with pristine cleans, edge-of-breakup textures, or soaring high-gain lead tones
What makes the SE Custom 24 so appealing is how naturally it adapts to different playing styles and musical situations. The 85/15 “S” pickups deliver impressive clarity and range, keeping chords open and detailed while still offering enough power and sustain for heavier modern tones. Clean settings shimmer with depth and sparkle, while driven sounds bring out a smooth midrange presence and singing sustain that responds beautifully to touch and dynamics. The coil-splitting capability adds even more flexibility, allowing the guitar to move from thick humbucking punch into brighter, more articulate textures without ever feeling thin or lifeless.
The playing experience is where the SE Custom 24 truly shines. The wide thin neck profile feels fast and effortless without sacrificing comfort, and the patented PRS tremolo system offers a smooth, stable response that encourages expressive playing while maintaining excellent tuning stability. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed for real-world musicianship, making this the kind of guitar that easily transitions from practice room to stage to studio. Dependable, inspiring, and unmistakably PRS in both feel and tone, the SE Custom 24 continues to earn its reputation as one of the most versatile guitars in its class. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
