The Paul Reed Smith Modern Eagle was introduced in 2004 as a higher-end model that borrowed from Private Stock design language, tonewoods and manufacturing techniques. Since then, it has gone through several updates.
The most recent version uses 53/10 humbuckers and select tonewoods.
