About this listing
The MXR MB301 Bass Synth Pedal is a powerful tool for bassists who want to dive into classic synth tones with ease. Whether you're in a funk band, playing synth-heavy pop covers, or just love the flavor of analog-style bass textures, this pedal delivers. Co-developed with Ian Martin Allison, it captures the essence of old-school synth lines and layers them with modern control, letting you channel everything from Stevie Wonder to Nine Inch Nails.
Its interface is straightforward but deep, with controls like Sub Mix, Mod, Envelope, and Cutoff allowing total tonal flexibility. Presets inspired by hits like "Thriller" and "Chameleon" make it easy to get started fast. Plus, the Shape and Voice buttons expand your sonic palette with waveform and oscillator options. It's roadworthy, easy to tweak mid-set, and built to handle whatever groove you throw at it. We think it's one of the most usable and creative bass synth pedals you can throw on your board.
