Overview
The Musicvox Spaceranger is currently enjoying a run of reissues, but these original mid-1990s specimens are somewhat of a curiosity. When they debuted, they featured an Alder or Ash body with a 24.75 inch Gibson-esque scale with either humbuckers or P-90s. The headstock and treble bout looked warped and inflated, giving them a distinct psychedelic vibe. Their unique look landed one lucky specimen a part on screen in the movie Austin Powers III.
