  • The best bass amp I've ever heard!

    Mesa WalkAbouts are the best sounding bass amps on planet earth, full stop. There are volume limitations that will drive you nuts when you need 'more', but if you can keep it in the sweet spot, these are tone city, baby. Nothing else compares that I've ever played, but unfortunately, I often need a louder amp. Have to appreciate it for what it is.

    Tone MONSTER! No bells. No whistles. Just tone. Tone. Tone. Tone. Puts a smile on my face every time. Been playing for over 35 years. Best DI on the planet. Needs efficient speaker cab(s) to truly work it's magic at volume. Lots of great gear out there. This one's a keeper. Til' death do us part… Nope. I'm takin' it with me.
