The remastered X Series is made to play. The acoustic-electric D-X2E features the iconic Dreadnought body shape, now available in three eye-catching high-pressure laminate (HPL) patterns—mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, or ziricote. The satin spruce top features an elegant abalone pattern rosette, while HPL back and sides give you durability and classic Martin style. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its signature size is loud and projective with strong bass, lending itself to any genre and experience level. The D-X2E also features a select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, and Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, letting you plug in and play at any volume. All X Series models come with a softshell case.Body Size: D-14 FretFinish Top: SatinConstruction: Mortise & Tenon Neck JointBack and Side Finish: SatinBracing Pattern: X-BraceScale Length: 25.4"Brace Shape: ScallopedFingerboard Width at Nut: 1 3/4''Top Material: SpruceNeck Shape: PA ProfileBack Material: Ziricote HPLNeck Taper: High-Performance TaperSide Material: Ziricote HPLElectronics: Martin E-1TopTop Color: BurstBridge Style: Sloped Modern BellyBinding: NoneBridge String Spacing: 2 5/32"Top Inlay Material: NoneBridge Material: Select HardwoodTop Detail: NoneBridge Pin Material: White PlasticPickguard: Faux TortoiseBridge Pin Dots: Black PlasticPickguard Inlay: NoneSaddle: White TusqRosette: Single Ring Abalone PatternSaddle Radius: 16"BodyBrace Material: SpruceBack and Sides Color: NoneBrace Size: 5/16"Back Detail: NoneBack Purfling/Strip: NoneBack Inlay Material: NoneHeelcap: Black BoltaronSide Detail: NoneEndpiece: NoneSide Inlay Material: NoneEndpiece Inlay: NoneNeckNeck Material: Select HardwoodFingerboard Material: Select HardwoodFinish Neck: Hand-RubbedFingerboard Width at 12th Fret: 2 1/8''Neck Color: NoneFingerboard Inlay Style: Style 28Number of Frets Total: 20Fingerboard Inlay Material: Faux Abalone PatternNeck Joins Body At: 14th FretFingerboard Binding Material: NoneSide Dots: WhiteHeadstockHeadstock Shape: SolidTuning Machines: Satin Chrome Closed GearHeadplate Material: Ziricote HPLKnob: SmallHeadplate Logo Style: Script InkNut Material: White CorianHeadplate Binding Material: NoneHeadplate Detail: Nonejb
