This exceedingly well-kept D-28 features the classic tonewood combination of an X-braced Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back/sides, and a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. Offering richness and depth, this D-28 has ample projection, highly responsive to player inputs. Notes have excellent balance across strings and in all registers. The bass register is full and round without being overly boomy, the midrange is smooth, and the trebles are bell-like and punchy.
