Was told by Ohio drum shop from whom I bought it, that this seamless 14x8 Ludwig Hammered Raw Bronze snare was 1 of only 12 made for Sweetwater in 2021, but they later canceled the order. So Ludwig offered the 12 to a few other drum shops. This was of course before Ludwig started to remake these in 2024, and in spring 2025 Ludwig stopped making any 14x8 BRONZE snares.This 2021 version may have a different seriel number series than the 2024 ones? Maybe a different hammering pattern? Sounds great, mellow metal sound, great projection - played only at non-smoking home for 15 minutes...Drum is perfect condition except for lightly played heads Good as new condition - Comes with sealed/unopened warranty card and key.
