Rockett Audio Designs El Hombre Overdrive Pedal -NewFrom blistering leads to smooth overdrive tones, the J. Rockett El Hombre captures the tones of everyone’s favorite bearded, blues-playing Texan! However, while the El Hombre delivers the raunchy tone of Tres Hombres in spades, it’s so much more than that — especially once you start experimenting with the highly reactive and amp-like Volume, Gain, and Bite settings. All guitarists are amazed by the sheer versatility of this dirt box, especially the Bite control for its ability to take your sound from spongy tube sag to a wide-open Plexi punch. If you’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades — and a tool for harnessing the master of Texas blues — look no further than J. Rockett’s El Hombre.Highly reactive controlsWhile El Hombre sports a simple 3-knob layout, don’t be fooled into thinking that it’s limited! The Volume, Gain, and Bite controls on El Hombre have a special reactive quality with each other, allowing you to capture a myriad of different tones through experimentation. Of particular interest is the Bite control, which functions both as a typical tone knob, but also works wonders on dialing your gain down for a smoother tone. El Hombre might be named for its ability to capture the tones of "La Grange" and "Jesus Just Left Chicago," but it’s by no means locked into that single sound!Features:Free Shipping delivers within 2 to 3 business days or less.Overdrive pedal that captures the screaming tone of beloved bearded blues legendAmp-like response that changes drastically depending on how hard you push itCovers everything from a light dirt to brown sound-like tonesSimple 3-knob design featuring highly interactive Volume, Gain, and Bite controls that reward experimentationEye-catching Calavera floral skull artTop-mounted jacks to save space on your pedalboardInputs: 1 x 1/4" (instrument)Outputs: 1 x 1/4"True Bypass: YesControls: BitePower Source: 9V DC power supply (sold separately)Power Usage: 18mAPower Usage: 18mAHeight: 2.0"Width: 2.5"Depth: 4.7"Weight: 1 lbs.
