After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body has a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly towards the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack.After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings.Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. Macassar Ebony back and sides imbue this guitar with an exotic appearance.
