  • Very nice guitar

I also have a Manhattan, but wanted the smaller body and adjust-o-matic bridge. This guitar sounds great - I love the Guild pickups - and it plays great. The fit and finish is excellent, it will probably need a setup depending on how you want it to play. Mine was OK to start but became stellar af…

  • Not Even Close to a Vintage Guild

    Verified Purchase

I used to own a 1960 Guild Aristocrat and this new made in Korea does not come close to the sounds I got out a my old vintage Guild. These new Franz P-90's are way too hot and don't come close to the sound of the low output P-90's on the vintage Aristocrats. Now I will be looking to buy a vintage one get what you pay for.

But... the pickups were way too close to the strings and it did not sound good as a result. The action was fine for me, but cou…
