For sale is a 2011 Gretsch G6118T made the Terada Factory in Japan. The original Gretsch case (make in Canada by TKL) is included. This guitar was recently set up for medium-low action (about 2mm at the 12th fret on the low E and about 1.5mm at the 12th fret on the high e string) with D'Addario 12-52 Chromes. The neck is very straight with minimal relief. To the best of my knowledge this guitar is all original with the exception of the strap buttons (the originals are not included). There is no evidence of structural repairs in it's history. Mild fret wear on frets 1-3 under the G and B strings as pictured. Aside from the typical finish swirls and play wear there is a ding and a scratch on the bottom of the body and some wear on the bottom of the Bigsby (both near the strap button, pictured).This guitar weights about 7.4lbs and has a 2.5" deep body. The nut width measures 1.72" and the neck thickness is approximately 0.84" at the first fret and 0.93" at the 10th. If I had to describe the neck shape I would call it a soft V shape although the specs I've seen online say it should be a U shape. I have a '52 reissue tele with a U shaped neck and the neck on this Gretsch does not feel like that one at all as it has much 'softer' shoulders than my Tele. According to my multimeter, the neck pickup measures a hair over 4k ohms and the bridge pickup measures 4.6k ohms.Let me know if you have questions or would like additional pictures.
