Overview
The Gibson J-200 found in the 1955 catalog was, for the most part, the same guitar as the SJ-200 from years prior. The model name was shortened, the back and sides were a laminate material, and the flower motif on the pickguard changed slightly, but these beautiful guitars are every bit as lively and bright as the maple-backed SJ-200s from years prior.
