À propos de cette annonce
You don't see many of these original 60s non-reverse Firebirds in the UK. A worn battleaxe but it functions perfectly. This guitar had spent most of its life in Loveland, Ohio, until I found it and imported it to Manchester a few years ago. It's a great rocknroll or indie machine, as used by QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Oasis etc in their wall of rhythm guitar, and it cuts through the mix for lead guitar too - the triple P90s have a punchy sound and the middle position gives an amazing bite. The lacquer checking is very visible but not detrimental - it just adds to that aged vintage murphy lab style vibe and lets the wood breathe. The mahogony body is sleek and ergonomic with the stomach carve bringing the guitar into your body. Lightweight for comfort with nice low action. No breaks, cracks or repairs. Fully intact. Undoubtedly gigged and loved. One or two pickguard screws need replacing - easy fix.Comfortable C shaped neck, easy to play with a fairly wide fretboard. Good articulate P90 tones as you'd expect. It's a bit dinged and it's been around the block, but that's a big part of its charm ; naturally relic'd. The rosewood fretboard is a smooth ride with the original frets still having plenty of life in them. The cool vibrola compliments everything and the original electronics all function properly.Hardware all seems original although the vibrola may have been replaced at some time. Difficult to say.Comes with original case which is a bit worse for wear but is functional and beautiful.More photos on request.
