Custom 2013 Gibson ES-335 Studio – FVKDPN #002 (One-of-a-Kind)This guitar began life as a 2013 Gibson ES-335 Studio, originally finished in Midnight Blue and factory-equipped with a single bridge humbucker. It has since been fully transformed—electronically, hardware-wise, and visually—into a truly unique, performance-ready instrument.All original electronics and hardware have been removed and replaced. The factory PCB has been swapped for a vintage-style single-volume wiring harness, keeping things simple, raw, and responsive. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan Invader SH-8n, delivering massive output, clarity under gain, and an aggressive, modern voice that suits this guitar perfectly.Visually, this guitar has undergone extensive custom work. The original finish was repainted into a Silverburst, then sanded and burned by hand to create the distressed, organic finish you see now. The result is a bold, worn-in aesthetic with strong Tom DeLonge influence—purposeful, minimal, and unapologetically rock-focused. A light clear coat was applied to lock in the finish while preserving its texture and character.This guitar is strung with new Ernie Ball 10–46 strings and comes with a ’90s Gibson “Cali Girl” brown and pink hardshell case.This is the second official FVKDPN Gibson guitar. These instruments are a true labor of love, with many hours invested into both sound and appearance.
