Here we have a spectacular looking Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard Figured Iguana Burst from 2011. This Les Paul features an absolutely stunning figured Iguana Burst top displaying some vibrant maple flame from top to bottom. It is the best Iguana Burst Custom Shop model we have had at GSG. The blending work on the back and sides fn the body and neck is equally special and the only one like it we have ever had. It is in fine condition with no issues at all, no breaks or repairs. Beautiful carve to the top and the weight is 4.4kg. Lovely thick and chunky ’59 profile neck carve, slightly thicker than a standard '59 carve but not quite an R8. It’s a superb playing Les Paul and although has a minuscule nick in the top, is overall in fine condition all over. There is plenty of life in the frets, the truss rod has been checked and working fine and the neck is dead straight. It comes complete with its original tan Lifton historic hardshell case with key, which is also in fine condition with all latches working fine. It also includes original Gibson Custom Shop Booklet amongst other case candy. A very cool and very rare Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard.
