Gibson Country Western Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar 1950s

Played by none other than Hank Williams Jr., the Gibson Country Western dreadnought acoustic guitar has a history based in Gibson's Southern Jumbo. With a natural finish and a dreadnought body shape that developed square shoulders in '62, the Country Western deviated from the SJ as a separate and distinct model in 1956. The Country Western has a classic tonewood composition, with mahogany for its back and sides and the tonally-balanced spruce for its top.
