The Fostex 6301NX is a compact 4" active monitor in the long-running 6301 series used in broadcast and production rooms since the early 1980s. This N-series revision pairs a sealed aluminum die-cast enclosure with a 20W Class-D amplifier, a dedicated 4" full-range driver, and auto standby that drops below 0.5W after about 25 minutes of quiet input. The NX is the transformer-balanced analog input version, with XLR balanced and 1/4" TS unbalanced on the rear.
Design
Controls sit flush on the face so the speaker is harder to knock offline or change level by accident. Width and height match earlier 6301B-H units for drop-in replacement. Optional EB-6301 wall bracket (sold separately) adds angled mounting.
