This a great unit, in that it models some great classic gear, and handles the processing load itself (instead of making your computer do the work).IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a *FIREWIRE* interface (*NOT USB*) It runs a 32-bit VST plugin. ***Make sure your system is compatible with it before purchasing, as there are no returns.***Some basic info:The Focusrite Liquid Mix 16 is a legacy DSP-powered hardware controller and plugin system that uses dynamic convolution to emulate 40 classic compressors and 20 EQs. Originally released in the late 2000s, it connects via FireWire to offload processing from your computer, providing up to 16 simultaneous channels of vintage sound.Included is the Liquid Mix unit, original box, installer DVD-ROM and literature. I can also throw in a Firewire cable of your choice (big-to-small end, or big-to-big end), just let me know which one your system takes.
