Fender Vibro Champ 5w Combo 1967-1981 Silverface

Overview

Born from the original tweed blackface models of the early '60s with added functionality made for pedals, the Fender Vibro Champ is a winner in any rig. The Vibro Champ added a tube tremolo circuit with controls for Speed and Intensity, making this classic recording amp even more versatile without sacrificing any of the original tone. A classic combo you'd be hard-pressed to get a bad tone out of.

Incredible tone. And man can these amps get loud!

  • A match made in heaven!

This is an overlooked classic amp that can compete with any Fender amp ever made, its the same circuits as the blackface Champs for half the price or even less. Plus it's not often mentioned it can be used with a RCA jack foot switch for the vibrato/tremelo. Buy one before they go up in price. I can play this with my Tele for hours and lose track of time. In heaven!

Its a great amp, you can crank it up without getting the cops called, and in a smaller room itll peel paint! It has all those black face tones you want!

Tone town. Something about vintage fenders. Top end is so smooth. This champ has everything I need for recording. Sounds huge recorded. Sounds awesome in the room. Great with any guitar for punk/country/country punk/and punk country and rock and roll Haven’t gigged with it. But it’s probably suitable for small venues if you mic it up. Peace!
