2011 Fender Pawn Shop Jaguarillo-Candy Apple Red Serial #MX11317449 in Very Good Pre-Owned Condition.While the Jaguarillo model officially debuted in mid-2012 featuring a floating tremolo tailpiece, this instrument features a rare MX11 serial number prefix indicating its late 2011 assembly. When I took this to my guitar tech to get a set up and find out why the tremolo was not functioning, he indicated that even though it has the appearance of having a floating tremolo, underneath it set up as a hardtail. He indicated that due to the early serial number with only the appearance of a floating tremolo that this was probably a promo/prototype version which might have been displayed at a guitar show.(NOTE: I also own a 2012 model and the tech compared the 2 side by side opened up and the only difference was the 2012 has the floating trem and the 2011 does not. Of course, there is after market hardware you can acquire to change it from a hardtail to a floating trem, but I believe early serial number gives it a more collectable value.)That's the best description I can give. This guitar is in very good condition with a few minor scratches and a couple of small indentions on the bottom edge. I tried my best to show them in pictures.Everything is factory original, including the mint green pickguard.
