Overview
The Fender Duo-Sonic II, only produced for four years in the mid-to-late '60s, was the dual-pickup counterpart of the Fender Musicmaster, which were both some of Fender's first student-specific guitars. The original Duo-Sonic had a shorter scale length, though the Duo-Sonic II had a 24" scale length. However, the Duo-Sonic II was still considered a student level guitar at its shorter price point and without a significant amount of appointments.
