A Stratocaster with a flamed maple top and back, released in 1996 to commemorate Fenderfs 50th anniversary. The body is made of flamed maple and alder, the neck is maple, the fingerboard is rosewood, the controls are volume/front tone/center tone, and the hardware is gold-colored. The truss rod is at its limit, and there is some twisting visible in the neck. At this time, it has virtually no impact on playability. The guitar will be sold as-is. The frets have been leveled. The strap pins have been replaced with standard-type (gold-colored) pins. The original locking-type strap pins are included, but the matching locking pin for the opposite side is missing. There are dents and scratches on the headstock; discoloration is visible where the finish has peeled off at the tip of the headstock; and there is a scratch with a dent on the back of the neck. There are scuff marks and areas with a different paint finish on the body; the pickguard shows playing wear, and the metal parts exhibit noticeable tarnish and pitting.
