About this listing
ESP LTD GL-200K BLACK George Lynch Signature Guitar
The GL-200K delivers a distinctly aggressive playing experience with its thin U-shaped maple neck and bolt-on basswood construction that balances comfort with precision. George Lynch's signature model maintains the shredder-friendly characteristics that defined his tone, from the reverse hockey-stick headstock to the streamlined black finish that projects pure intent. This is a workhorse instrument built for high-gain rock and metal applications.
Playability & Feel
The thin U-shaped maple neck and 25.5" scale length provide fast access across the fretboard, while the 22 extra-jumbo frets and 350 mm fingerboard radius on rosewood enable aggressive bending and technical passages. The 43 mm nut width offers enough real estate for precise picking without unnecessary stretch, making this guitar equally capable for single-note runs and complex chord work.
Tone & Electronics
The pickup combination of an ESP LH-150B humbucker at the bridge and ESP LS-120 passive single coil at the neck covers punchy, articulate tones through classic high-output aggression. A master volume control with push-pull pickup selector grants instant access to coil-splitting options, while the Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo ensures rock-solid tuning stability during dive bombs and sustained shred passages.
