With its Reverse Firebird body and original thru-neck construction, this model blends old-school craftsmanship with modern precision. The 9-piece mahogany and walnut neck, capped with a rosewood fingerboard, delivers the sustain and resonance that made the early Firebirds legendary. Finished in Joe’s exclusive Polymist Gold, the Treasure’s bold look is complemented by its classic white-and-black pickguard featuring the iconic Firebird emblem.
At the heart of the Treasure Firebird-I is the ProBucker FB720 pickup, a faithful revival of the original 1960s Firebird design built with dual Alnico II bar magnets and a steel reflector plate. The result is a bright, responsive tone with the perfect blend of warmth and bite—an ideal fit for Bonamassa’s expressive style.
