🔥 JOE BONAMASSA SIGNATURE CRY BABY WAH – JB95For sale is the Dunlop JB95 Joe Bonamassa Signature Cry Baby Wah, developed by Dunlop together with Joe Bonamassa to match his demanding blues-rock setup, both sonically and visually. This is not simply a standard Cry Baby with a different finish. The JB95 was specifically voiced around Joe Bonamassa’s approach to the wah, with a wide, highly vocal sweep designed to accentuate expressive bends, sustained notes and blues-rock lead playing. Dunlop describes it as one of its most expressive Cry Baby designs. 🔥 Signature Joe Bonamassa DesignThe pedal features the distinctive copper top with a smooth black body, giving it the unmistakable Joe Bonamassa Signature appearance.Inside, the JB95 uses large vintage-style through-hole components and a vintage-style Halo Inductor, providing additional harmonic content and the characteristic vocal, growling quality associated with classic wah tones. It also includes an output buffer, specifically designed to prevent impedance interaction with vintage fuzz pedals, making the JB95 particularly useful in a traditional blues-rock pedalboard where wah and fuzz may be used together. 🔥 Internal True Bypass / Buffered Bypass SwitchOne of the particularly interesting features of the JB95 is the internal bypass switch. The pedal can be configured for:True Hardwire BypassNon-True Bypass / buffered operationJoe Bonamassa has stated that he prefers the non-True Bypass configuration because it slightly darkens the high end, which forms part of his preferred signal-chain response. The switch is located internally and is accessed by removing the bottom plate. The SoundThe JB95 has a wide, vocal sweep that makes it particularly effective for blues and blues-rock lead playing. It works beautifully for:Expressive blues solosVocal lead linesSinging bendsBlues-rock rhythm accentsClassic rock wah tonesHigh-gain lead soundsFuzz + wah combinationsJoe Bonamassa has described the Cry Baby as an important part of his soloing setup, and Dunlop specifically designed the JB95 around that expressive approach.
