Crown DC300A. Known for iron-clad bass control and a massive damping factor, this direct-coupled amp drives power-hungry speakers easily. Starting 25 years ago, I used this amp for my home stereo. The high slew rate and 4ohm capabilities of this amp made it a great match for my Magnepan MGs. (Martin-Logan owners take note!) After a few years I got different gear and put this away. Since then I have used this once or twice a year for a party or dance with standard PA speakers.
