On sale this very exciting guitar that belonged to mr Sean Long from While She Sleeps - his first ever signature model - and that was handed to charity after their show in Poland in 2023 , the Pol'and'Rock Festival . Although the first photo (by Svein Frydnes) that you can see was taken on the Tuska Festival in Finland also in 2023 . All photos from that festival you can see on Svein's Facebook page . This one catches attention of a nerdy eyes for few reasons :1) This guitar was manufactured in 2021 , according to the serial number from the backplate from the neckjoint , despite the retail model was launched in 2022 . Also on the headstock there is the sticker "SL0003" , so it is the one of the 3 very first made (probably the SL0001 one still belongs to Fender/Charvel). The individual serial number from this neck joint plate you can also see in the Charvel's promo video of this guitar in 4:52 , and in 6:13 when Sean talks about the guitar he holds in the video. Here is the link for this promo video :youtube.com/watch?v=-14FkY9ZTZU2) On the headstock there is no stamp that the retail model has that says : „This guitar headstock is the registered trademark of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation..." . So it looks like a prototype model .3) Of course everything above I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the look of this graphics with moving eyes. Mr Long is well known for using markers of various colours to make every his device and guitar more personal and special. On the headstock the sticker has written "Ddawg" (a slang variation for the word "the dog") . And of course - this huge sentence "Not Long Left Now" . The guitar is like one big autograph . The look counts - as it catches folk's attention - but a lot of people will be still excited about points 1) and 2) as they make it more special compared to what you can find in shops . The belt that is connected is not easy to separate and it looks like is doubled - you can see on the screen from the Tuska festival that he has this belt on both shoulders . From the technical standpoint - everything works . When I got it it was tuned D# so I tried to tune to E standard , but from what I see in the interview Sean uses usually Drop D , Drop C and "D-X" . The input jack could be improved as my cable doesn't fit well and the guitar loses signals on some angles .Visually - although it is not an old guitar it has its hits , harms and scratches , like it was using heavily - pure rock 'n roll .The guitar is rather something for nerds and collectors of authentic artist guitars and gear . Of course the instruments owned by artists appear on Reverb , but very rarely - signature models , actually owned by an artist , that actually toured , that are very first made by the contracted company . Also - have you ever seen a guitar on Reverb that took part in a promo video ? Companies rarely share them with public as they are part of company's history .It will be sent in a hardcase so nothing will happen in transport . Nothing more will be included except what you see . I'm experienced in sending guitars worldwide . Guitars are usually sent with UPS or Fedex (never national mail) .
