The Boss DC-3 Digital Dimension Chorus brings spacey, organic choral sounds of the '80s in a through a four-knob control layout of E. Level, EQ, Rate, and Depth, all digital circuitry for more precise effects emulation, and a sampling rate of 50kHz. Departing from its predecessor, the DC-2, by incorporating digital as opposed to analog circuitry, this model's spatial angle in its effect is perfect for post-rock, grunge, or psych.

  • 80's secret tip #3 Zero Pedal

    Verified Purchase

LOVE this pedal, but you have to know how to set it. The best way I've found (that was a secret tip) is to set it as a "Zero Pedal". This simply means to set rate and depth at 0, EQ to taste, Effect level on 10. RUN in stereo. This effect is subtle, but adds a wonderful shimmer when used this way.Enjoy !!!! I do !!!

  • Useful and unique

This is a different kind of chorus pedal. It's colder and more subtle than its Boss CE siblings. It sounds great on its own but I like to pair it with some analog delay for warmth and sometimes Phase 45 (2 stage) for some extra modulation.

Very subtle unique chorus - great useful effect

This is a chorus pedal for people who don't like chorus pedals. Does not have a lot of crazy vibrato going on, instead it adds like it's name sake Dimension to the sounds being run through it. This pedal really shines in stereo, in mono it's very subtle but it's there.

  • Most Tasteful chorus ever...

I bought this as a ready replacement for the one I've been using in my pedalboard for 20+ yrs, just in case - It still has the cleanest chorus sound out there, and affects the original tone the least... A perfect chorus pedal!! Ellis W, Baltimore
