AKG HT4500 Professional Handheld Wireless Transmitter
The HT4500 is a compact, metal-bodied analog transmitter engineered for demanding live sound environments. Its ergonomic form factor—just 247 mm tall and weighing 125 grams—delivers comfortable extended handheld operation, while the rugged construction handles the rigors of touring, theater, and installed sound applications without compromise.
Wireless Performance & Range
Operating across the 500 MHz to 862 MHz UHF band with up to 1,200 selectable frequencies in 25 kHz steps, this transmitter provides the frequency agility needed for multi-channel deployments. The dipole-antenna design ensures reliable transmission even when the antenna is partially covered by the user's hand, while switchable RF output of 10 to 50 mW delivers maximum signal strength for long-distance applications with a line-of-sight range of approximately 100 meters.
Battery Life & Audio Quality
Two included LR6 AA alkaline batteries provide 15 hours of continuous operating time, with real-time pilot tone feedback displaying remaining battery life in hours directly to the receiver. The transmitter delivers professional audio with a 35–20,000 Hz frequency response, 120 dB-A signal-to-noise ratio, and 0.3% THD at 1 kHz, meeting the sonic demands of critical applications.
