The Acme Audio Opticom XLA-3 MKII, an update to the original issue, is a single channel optical limiter with all-tube electronics. Loosely inspired by the classic LA-2A design, the XLA-3 MKII makes use of three switchable timing controls for a wide range of compression curves and tonal variation.
