Alexander Sorokin is a Canadian Guitar Builder with a singular obsession for 50’s P-90 equipped guitars. He has meticulously studied them and crafted stunning tributes to these classic instruments. We are proud to be his only dealer. These are in very limited supply, with approximately 5 guitars being released each YEAR. This is Sorokin’s first carved top and it is stunning. The Goldtop finish is deep with the perfect greening. The guitar was carved right beside an original 1952 Les Paul for maximum accuracy.

The tone is fat and clear with the perfect amount of snarl. The Sanford Magnetics pickups clean up beautifully.

-1950's style single action 3/16 steel truss rod with brass nut
-Period correct nylon 6/6 nut

-Mojoaxe, 33 gram aluminum wraparound bridge - Machined from 7075 aircraft grade lightweight aluminum bar stock
-Vintage correct long bridge studs with extra long bushings
-Sanford Magnetics custom wound "SS90" Pickups
-1954' style medium-large "C" neck profile
-1959 spec nickel-silver medium/high fretwire
-Metered 500k audiotaper CTS pots with Luxe Grey Tiger capacitor
-Luxe #8 gauge black PVC Tubing inside wiring cavity - which even smells old
