The Yamaha CHR15 is a 2-way passive loudspeaker built around a 15-inch cone LF driver paired with a 1.4-inch diaphragm compression driver, covering a frequency range of 49 Hz to 20 kHz. Rated at 250 W continuous (IEC noise), 500 W program, and 1,000 W peak, it delivers a calculated peak SPL of 125 dB with 95 dB sensitivity at 1 W/1 m - figures suited to demanding live sound applications. The 8-ohm cabinet connects via dual Speakon NL4MP inputs wired in parallel, and the plywood enclosure carries a durable polyurea coating. Dual 35 mm pole sockets allow 0° or -7° downtilt positioning, while M10 eyebolt rigging points support flown installations.
