Sourced from Sussex (bought by seller's father in 1970), it is an original 220V UK import...s/n 63871(only 5-digits...its one of the first!). After a full rebuild/refurb "from the ground up", which has taken Klassic Keys GB many days to do, its now ready to play "You're my best friend" with verve & panache....with the strident vibrato resonating all over in buckets..... play "Your Gold Teeth" by Steely Dan (ALL the way through..proper o/driven EP200/proper music). MD insisted on an an EP200 (its a golden beige one).....must have the "gritty sound!" It has.Set @ 220Vac, there is a aux-out socket and a h/phone socket which defeats the monitors if/when any jack is inserted. No hum worth mentioning, but Orchid 1:1 passive transformer is included, which kills mains hum, anyway, when the "aux out" socket is used for recording/external amplification. There are no rattles. Keys are in great condition. Black lid is clean and uncracked.UK price is £5,500. This includes (mainland) delivery, direct to your door. Sale is via HMRC VAT magin scheme. Any EP200/200A sale is now an event; they are now very hard to find ~ especially decent ones that actually WORK and are IN TUNE......There is NO substitute for the real thing....how can you possibly produce the sound of a genuine 1970 EP200, unless you have all the original components?Sounds like? Watch attached Jacob Collier video...that famous blue EP200 will always be there somewhere ( Doug met him on delivery!).......its still Jacob's "go-to" keyboard...this is how a Klassic Keys GB Wurlitzer performs..... The value will continue to rise...they are now rare items.......BEWARE buying any EP that has not been serviced; chances are it will cost circa £600 - 800 to return it to an acceptable standard of performance (and safety)!. They are genuine mechanical pianos inside.....and difficult to work on, especially getting them in tune....... dont buy a lemon, buy this KKGB peach!
