About this listing
Friends.I've owned a handful of Parker Flys over the years, and every time I do I'm awestruck by what Ken Parker strove to contribute to the art and craft of design and guitar-building. This particular specimen I purchased used earlier this year for a particular project that I'm no longer involved in, and unfortunately I can't afford to keep it at the moment. I do hope it finds a home with one of you where it'll get the love and appreciation it deserves.Super rare finish and overall excellent condition, especially for a 30+yo instrument. Electronics all work as they're intended (I put the guitar through its paces on the linked video below), and it's set up with the 10-Gauge "spring" to float and stop with minimal/no pitch variation. The only non-original part as far as I can tell was the Piezo Volume knob (it was the same texture, but larger), so I ordered a 3D-printed one that was designed for it, and it works like a charm. Very few nicks/dings for a pre-redefined Fly, and I believe I caught all of them in the images. Otherwise, clean as a whistle. The case is in excellent condition as well.I'm including a stereo cable + adaptor that I purchased (the original was not included when I got it), along with the accessories that were included when I purchased it - booklet, T-Wrench, hangtags. If there's an additional allen wrench you think you need, please let me know and I'll try to see if I have a spare I can include.NOTE: Some cheaper cables might have more of a "wiggle" when plugged in, producing a short at some angles. I've found this to not be uncommon with these guitars. Please ask any questions before purchasing, and thanks for stopping by!
