The Martin OM-28 Standard is a modern classic, renowned for its balanced tone, rich projection, and unmatched playability. Built in 2014, this guitar carries the legacy of Martin’s 180+ years of luthiery excellence.The Martin OM-28 Standard is prized for its versatility, and has won fans among players of many styles. Its combination of a 000-size body, long scale, and the 1 3/4" wide neck and string-spacing gives it a distinctive feel and tonality. With her scalloped bracing, she brings your sound to life—fingerpicking, strumming or soloing, she does it all. Bold herringbone, authentic East Indian Rosewood, Ebony, Sitka spruce, and vintage appointments give her a classic vintage look and timeless sound.She comes with standard X-bracing and Martin's renowned Modified Low Oval neck with PA Taper. The PA taper is less narrow taper all the way up to the 12th fret compared to the standard taper. Feels easier to play up the scale. The OM has the longer 645 mm scale length compared to the 000 making the tone is a little tighter, louder and more brilliant. That is why guitarists like Eric Clapton and John Mayer love this model! overall she's in excellent condition. Little fret wear, low action and the correct neck angle. The back binding was repaired by our Martin certified luthier. Her former owner upgrade the bridge pins, end pin and strap pin to Genuine Bone. She has been well cared for and shows only minor wear and scratches, thus her condition is excellent.
