The usual Ibanez feeling is provided by a slim GRG neck made of maple, which provides the best conditions for well-groomed riffs and solos. On the sonic side, on the other hand, with the two Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, two absolute classics are used, which are ready for any fun from gentle Blues to powerful high-gain sounds of rock and metal. Last but not least, the Ibanez Gio GRG220PA1-BKB Transparent Brown Black Burst presents a stunning look with chic Poplar Burl Art Grain top, traditional Sharkfin fingerboard inlays and a uniform chrome-look hardware finish. Typical Ibanez FeelingAs part of the Gio Series, the Ibanez GRG220PA1-BKB pays special attention to the agile Ibanez feel with accommodating, beginner-friendly playing characteristics. Featuring a sleek design with pronounced body horns and ergonomic contours, the lightweight okoume body promises a perfectly balanced and snug playing position. At the same time, the rounded All Access Neck Joint guarantees unobstructed access to the highest registers of the bolt-on maple neck, whose slim GRG neck profile creates the best conditions for adept riffing and solos on the 24-fret Purpleheart fingerboard. Classic Elite pickups for diverse timbresWith two Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers, which belong to the absolute evergreens in the Ibanez program, the Gio GRG220PA turns out to be a sonically adept all-rounder, to which no genre between blues, rock and metal is alien. With their rich, yet finely nuanced sound, the powerful humbuckers are equally suited for gentle overdrive, powerful high-gain distortion and surprisingly transparent cleans. In addition to the five-position blade switch for selecting different pickup circuits, master volume and master tone pots allow full control over the sound of the electric guitar. Reliable Hardware in chrome finishOf course, Ibanez completes the Gio GRG220PA1-BKB Transparent Brown Black Burst with reliable attachments, whose uniform chrome finish underlines the noble appearance of the electric guitar. The bridge is the classic Ibanez T106 tremolo, which can be used to add chords and melodies and gently shimmering vibrato embellishments. Individually adjustable block tailpieces also guarantee accurate intonation and comfortably playable string action. Die-cast tuners with encapsulated housing also keep the Gio guitar reliably in tune.
