This Made in Japan model faithfully recreates the Michiya Haruhata III Stratocaster Trans Pink, a signature model by Fender Custom Shop master builder Jason Smith.While meeting the stringent specifications of one of Japan's most technically gifted players and the first Japanese player to receive a signature model from Fender, this model offers a truly affordable price point. The striking ash body with a flame maple top and no pickguard, finished in a vibrant Trans Pink finish, enhances its refined elegance.The 25.5-inch scale, satin-finished Michiya Haruhata Soft V maple neck, recreated via a 3D scan of the guitar's original instrument, features black dot position markers, and the distinctive reverse-set large headstock is equipped with a locking nut for stable tuning.The HSH pickup configuration supports Haruhata's hard, emotional sound. The neck pickup offers ample sustain, while the bridge pickup features a DiMarzio Air Norton DP193 humbucker. The bridge pickup offers a tight, bright sound. The Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil Strat delivers a rich, tangible sound, from crystal-clear highs to tight lows.
