Perfect pair of rare mic preamps manufactured by Ludwig Jahnke in 70’s (professional equipment for German broadcasting). Originally Danner format, discrete design Hi quality input and output transformers. Gain can be set from 10 dB to 80dB in 6 steps with knob for precise boosting. The preamps have cut filter at 50 and 100 Hz which might be useable for some sources. +48V phantom voltage independently switched for both channels, with LEDs indicating operation (front and rear to avoid damage to ribbon microphones).
They are professionally housed in a high-quality 1U steel enclosure. To minimize noise and interference, an external power supply is used, connected to the preamplifier via a 5-pin XLR cable. The amplifier power supply and phantom voltage stabilization section is located within the device itself, as close as possible to the modules.
Plug and play, ready to go.
