Most people know that Vic first was an amazing percussionist and founder of Vic Firth drum sticks company. What most do not know is Vic was a amazing foodie and home cook. Using the tools in his factory, he crafted some of the first pepper mills that were customized to what he felt a purse professional shelf needed. This parlayed into a business that sold rolling pins along with salt mills and pepper grinders. Presented for your viewing pleasure is a salt mill that has the non-metal innards so the salt will not corrupt them. The Peppermill has hard metal grinders. I used these a couple of times and then put on a display shelf as they are woodworking pieces of art.
